Silicon Valley is the number one producer of patents in the nation. The new USPTO, which opens in October 2015, will provide extensive support and expertise to assist professionals and entrepreneurs in quickly and efficiently accessing the U.S. intellectual property protection system. The new office, which is expected quickly to become one of the nation's busiest satellite offices, will be located at 200 East Santa Clara Street in San Jose, and will house up to 80 patent examiners and approximately 25 administrative patent judges.
