The Patent Cooperation Treaty Seminar, to be held by AIPLA in San Francisco, on July 20-21, is designed for practicing attorneys, patent agents, paralegals and administrators who want to learn more about PCT rules, procedures, practices, and strategies. The seminar will help attendees take the greatest advantage of the benefits of the PCT system. The speakers include a representative of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, which is responsible for operating the system, the USPTO, and practitioners from the U.S., Europe and China with years of experience and practical tips. The seminar will be accredited for 14 hours of California CLE credit.
For newcomers to the PCT, there will be a one-hour “PCT Primer” Webinar, which will provide an overview of the PCT system and the basics of filing a PCT application. The Webinar will take place on Wednesday, July 14, 2015, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm EDT. The Webinar is free to registrants.
Bar association members who want to attend can fax in their registration and receive the AIPLA member rate of $645 for the full program instead of the non-AIPLA member rate of $945.
