PROGRAM
“The Neuroscience of Competent Lawyering,” approved for 1 hour of California MCLE competence/substance abuse/mental illness credit, illustrates what happens in our brains when we are in our most productive states, and how to recognize when we are in our less productive states.

You will have the opportunity to:

-- Learn the neuroscience behind what allows us to be most effective and efficient at work

-- Learn how to stimulate the areas of the brain involved in the most productive work, while dampening the areas of the brain involved in the most self-defeating behaviors

-- Create environments for better productivity while enhancing team work with clients and colleagues

-- Learn how to stay productive while being able to handle more stress

-- Be able to better identify and avoid substance abuse and depression

PRESENTER
Gina Steele, Attorney, Business Owner, Executive Coach

Gina is the President of Steele Leadership, Inc., and has been an attorney for more than 20 years, running her own firm for more than six years. As a lawyer, there are three skill sets that have been key to Gina’s success: her leadership skills, her creative problem solving skills, and her communication skills. In her desire to help others, she became a Certified Executive Coach through the University of California Haas School of Business. She has honed her coaching skills by becoming an assistant instructor and facilitator in Leadership Communications classes and workshops for the MBA program at the California State University, East Bay.
