This program will be presented by USPTO staff.  Topics will include:

• Current and upcoming USPTO initiatives
• 101 Guidance and what to expect
• Open Q&A

This program will be held at the USPTO’s Silicon Valley Regional Office, located in San Jose, CA. We will also later provide an opportunity to attend via webinar, for those unable to attend in person.

The presentations will be followed by a networking opportunity with food and drinks. Attendees may also have the opportunity to tour the USPTO office. This is a free event, but CLE credits are available to SVIPLA members.

About the USPTO’s Silicon Valley Regional Office:

Our office is in the 3-story wing building of the San Jose City Hall complex.  Our main entrance is on S. Fourth Street which is a one-way street.  See map for location

Office Access:

The Silicon Valley USPTO is a federal facility.  Visitors must have a valid form of government-issued identification (driver license or passport) to gain access and may be subject to security screening. 

Parking:

There is metered street parking on S. Fourth Street and surrounding streets, as well as public parking garages, including the Fourth Street Garage (which is not available to motorcycles). Unfortunately, the USPTO does not provide parking validation.
